1. Introduction
Beachhead Apps LLC ("we," "our," or "us") builds mobile applications, web experiences, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard your information when you use any of our products or websites that link to this policy.
2. Scope: products and services covered
This policy applies to our current consumer apps and sites, including without limitation: Him (habit and spiritual guidance), Mouthy (oral-health and dental imaging features), Quiver (wellness and coaching), Arcana (spiritual and mystical companion features), and Reverse (fitness-age and health-related insights), together with beachheadapps.com and other Beachhead-operated landing pages or support channels. If we launch additional products, they will be covered by this policy unless we provide a separate policy for a specific product.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account and contact information
We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, subscribe, or contact us—such as email address, display name, authentication identifiers, billing-related details where purchases apply, and preferences.
3.2 Device and technical information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our apps or sites, such as device type, operating system, app or browser version, language, approximate location derived from IP address where applicable, identifiers used for analytics or push notifications, and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the service.
3.3 Usage and analytics
We collect event and usage data (for example, screens viewed and feature usage) to understand how our services are used and to improve them. This may be processed through Firebase, analytics SDKs, or similar providers.
4. Health, wellness, fitness, and sensitive data
Depending on which Beachhead product you use, we may process information that relates to health, fitness, wellness, intimacy, spirituality, or other sensitive areas of life. We summarize categories below and explain platform health services (Apple Health, Google Health Connect) where they apply.
4.1 Data you provide or generate across our apps
- Profile and onboarding: Age or age range, goals, preferences, habits you choose to track, challenges you describe, spiritual or wellness preferences, and similar voluntary inputs.
- Progress and activity in the product: Check-ins, streaks, calendars, routines, scores or summaries we derive in-app (such as fitness-age style metrics), reminders, and feature-specific logs.
- User content: Text, images, audio, or video you upload—examples include photos for prayer cards, dental or oral images for scanning-style features, chat messages, journal-style entries, or tarot and companion-app interactions.
- AI and coaching sessions: Messages and attachments you send through AI chat or coaching flows, plus session identifiers and technical context needed to generate responses.
4.2 Apple Health and Google Health Connect (Reverse)
The Reverse app may ask your permission to read and, where applicable, write health and fitness-related data through Apple Health on iOS and Google Health Connect on Android. Access is optional and controlled by your device settings; we only read or write categories you authorize.
On Android, Reverse may request access to categories such as: steps, distance, active calories burned, sleep, and heart rate variability (HRV / RMSSD), consistent with how the app computes fitness-age style insights and tracks progress. On iOS, Reverse may request access consistent with Apple Health permissions presented in the app (for example, to read metrics needed for fitness age and related wellness features and to sync certain activity data when that capability is enabled).
How we use platform health data: We use this data to provide Reverse’s core features—such as calculating and displaying fitness-age style metrics, trends, and personalized guidance—and to improve reliability of those features. We do not sell platform health data.
Retention and storage: Health data may be processed on your device and on our servers as needed for account sync, backup, and core functionality. See Section 6 for retention periods that apply to personal data generally.
4.3 Other apps and platform health databases
Him, Mouthy, Quiver, and Arcana do not read from or write to Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or similar platform-wide health databases through dedicated health APIs as of the date above. Any health-adjacent or wellness information from those products comes from what you enter in the app, from device sensors only where you grant permissions outside those platform health APIs (for example, camera for photos), or from our backends as described in this policy. If we add Health Connect or Apple Health integration to another app, we will update this policy before or when that feature ships.
4.4 How we use and share sensitive categories
- To operate the features you choose in each app (tracking, coaching, imaging, guidance, payments where applicable).
- To run AI features you initiate; third-party model providers may process content as described in Section 7.
- To provide support, security monitoring, and abuse prevention across our services.
- To comply with law and protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your health, wellness, or sensitive personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Beachhead products (hosting, auth, analytics, payments, AI infrastructure) under contracts, or when required by law.
5. How we use your information
In addition to the uses above, we use information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve all Beachhead apps and websites
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse
- Send service-related communications (including push notifications when enabled)
- Send optional marketing communications where permitted and with appropriate consent
- Comply with legal obligations
6. Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who host data, provide analytics, authentication, payments, customer support tools, or AI processing, subject to confidentiality and processing terms
- Legal and safety: authorities or others when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- Business transfers: a successor in a merger or acquisition, under safeguards consistent with this policy
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Account and app content: Retained while your account remains active for the relevant Beachhead product. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your personal data, we delete or irreversibly anonymize that data within 30 days of your verified request, except where we must retain specific information to meet legal obligations.
- Backups: Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion before they are overwritten or purged in the ordinary course.
- Analytics and product telemetry: Retained according to our analytics provider settings (for example, Firebase/Google Analytics), typically on the order of months and subject to aggregation or expiration rules configured for each project.
- Server logs and security: Technical and security logs may be retained for up to 12 months for troubleshooting, security monitoring, and legal compliance.
- Legal holds: If we must preserve data because of litigation or regulatory requirements, we may retain relevant information until those matters are resolved.
8. AI features and third-party AI (including Google Gemini)
When you use AI chat, coaching, scanning assistance, or similar features in any of our apps (for example Him, Quiver, Mouthy, or Arcana), we collect and process input you provide in connection with those features, which may include:
- What we collect: The text of your messages, images or other attachments you choose to send, session or conversation identifiers, and technical data such as device type and language preference.
- How we collect it: When you send a message or attachment, data is transmitted from the app to our servers (and, where applicable, to subprocessors) to generate a response.
- How we use it: We use this data to provide and improve those AI-powered features within our services. We do not use your conversations or photos to train our own general-purpose AI models.
- Who we share it with: We may share the above content with Google (Gemini) or other third-party model providers we use to generate responses. Where we use Gemini, Google processes the data to produce outputs under our instructions. We do not allow Google to use your data to train its Gemini models.
- Third-party protection: We require subprocessors to protect your data under standards that are the same as or equivalent to those in this policy, including through contractual terms. See each provider’s privacy and data processing documentation for more detail.
9. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit where applicable and access controls on our systems.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the details below. You may also adjust notifications in device settings and, where available, in each app.
11. Cookies and tracking
Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Our mobile apps may use similar technologies through SDKs for analytics as described above.
12. Third-party links
Our services may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
13. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice as appropriate.
